This Association always remids us to Follow the Licencing Board ( RCDS ) guidelines for record keeping to the letter. This includes documenting every time we do a proceedure that the dentist has received Informed Consent from a fully informed patient… But NO mention of Informed consent when it comes to the Vaxx .

Heath Canada Approves Moderna’s Updated COVID-19 Vaccine
Health Canada has approved Moderna’s Spikevax Monovalent COVID-19 vaccine for all Canadians who are six months old and older. This version of the vaccine has been formulated to target Omicron XBB.1.5, the subvariant currently circulating.

Here are the recommended doses for different age groups:

Five years old and older – one dose, regardless of COVID vaccination history.
Six months to four years old – two doses if not previously vaccinated with COVID vaccine; one dose if previously had one dose of COVID vaccine.
The vaccine is expected to be delivered to provinces starting in October 2023. More information on the vaccine can be found on the Government of Canada website.
