   Reports say two people dead, twenty four injured along with two vessels damaged using ten S200 missiles of which seven were shot down. Serious, but not earth shaking. No doubt retaliation will follow.

     Perhaps the attack was a response to the meetings between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un. Deals between the two countries are said to involve space technology, probably involving rocket launches and missile guidance for NK which would upset the US, and 152 mm shells, rockets and missiles etc. which would also upset the US. Military Summary reports twenty million 152 mm shells were purchased by Russia for use in their forthcoming offensive. Considering the west is having great difficulty supplying shells to Ukraine, this purchase should scare the hell out of them.

       As an aside, western politicians and their purchased media always portray China as holding NK’s puppet strings. From what I understand China does its best to restrain NK, and considers them to be an irritant. Considering that the west’s concern about NK is missile and nuclear technology it is far more likely that Russia has been the more important trade partner. This trade deal highlights that relationship, and shows it to be an important one for both countries. Once again Russia is confounding the U.S. with its diplomacy and foresight.
