When was I buying NVDA? I went SHORT the QQQ last Friday morning. NVDA headed to 300.
I did post on Aug. 27th that traders could use call oprions to play a possible split announcement since that was the last possible catalyst the company could use to goose the stock. The stock did rise 10% after that but since no split has been announced(still always a possibility) I believe if it comes it will be from much lower levels.
Don’t know if you have seen the various research pieces on Youtube and elsewhere about NVDA and the Coreweave deal and the financial dealings they have done. Apparently this isn’t the first time. Former CFO was fined and left the company a few years back for some questionable acctg. gimmicks. The few times I have heard the CEO I came away feeling he is a pump and dumper so even though they have a good product and in the short term had a temporary monopoly this smells like dead fish and I would not be long. If you are, take profits and a bow if you boght at much lower levels.
Chartmaster — my apologies — I thought it was you that had posted comments on shorting NVDA (compared it to the ENRON collapse).
SO the selling of shares by the CEO possibly supports the theory that we are on the verge of same occurring.
Someone posted it somewhere — I’m not astute enough to have thought it up myself – LOL!
Here’s what I posted about it, maybe it’s what you’re referring to: https://goldtadise.com/?p=592083

I saw that guys post yesterday. Anyone who has been in for any period of time congrats but I would take my profit and run. Both because of these financial dealings and because the stock got over done to the upside. Not a sustainable growth story.
