Loading ...CANADA – Public sector jobs in Canada since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic have grown at a rate more than three times as fast as those in the private sector, including the self-employed, according to a new study by the Fraser Institute
The report by the fiscally conservative think tank found that net job growth in the public sector between February 2020 and June 2023 was 11.8%, compared to just 3.3% in the private sector, including the self-employed.
