Loading ...Ukraine Rearrests American Blogger Trying To Enter Hungary For Asylum (Gonzalo Lira)
Chilean-American blogger Gonzalo Lira, who was initially detained by Ukrainian intelligence in May for ‘pro-Russian sympathies’—has reportedly been rearrested as he was trying to make his way out of Ukraine into Hungary. His crime?: publishing YouTube videos critical of the war & the US-Kiev-NATO stance.
He once again could face lengthy imprisonment, or even torture – given previous allegations which surfaced during his first detention – but he’s been shunned by the Biden administration and ignored by mainstream media. So much for “democracy”, free speech, and rule of law… as Lira simply doesn’t have the ‘correct’ viewpoint on the war, and thus Washington doesn’t bat an eye over his fate.
I cannot understand why he had to blog about his escape plans as they were happening. Especially as he stated his life was endangered and he had been beaten, tortured and extorted. Why did he not just leave silently and then blog once he got out safely? Does the guy have a suicide wish or something?

Its almost as if he’s in on the game. But no, that can’t be. People trust Gonzalo. He could not be compromised and used as bait for the alternative media to jump all over with panic responses….or could he? See that’s the problem these days. We can hardly trust our own eyes and ears especially when something so absurd happens. For now I will reserve judgement. But lets keep in mind he was probably under the control of the CIA or its peers while in Ukraine because he can serve a useful purpose. So anything that happens now might well be contrived and part of a narrative cultured to deceive.
