JC AGAIN OF COURSE

Another terrific, generation-changing, 6-3 Supreme Court decision issued yesterday. The Post Millennial ran the story yesterday headlined, “Supreme Court Rules That Affirmative Action In College Admissions Is Unconstitutional.”

Finally!

In an opinion written by Chief Justice Roberts, the Supreme Court completely overturned its previous decision in Grutter v. Bollinger and struck down affirmative action in colleges and universities. In the 6-3 decision, the Court held that ‘affirmative action’ is unconstitutional because it violates the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment.

The Court, noting that race-based admissions at Harvard led to a greater than -11% decline in the number of Asian American students admitted, explained that general invocations of fuzzy buzzwords like “increasing diversity” are no longer enough to carry the day:

Universities may define their missions as they see fit. The Constitution defines ours. Courts may not license separating students on the basis of race without an exceedingly persuasive justification that is measurable and concrete enough to permit judicial review.
Responding to the Court’s decision, former Biden staffer Erica Marsh, pictured below, angrily tweeted a very unfortunate hot take, which will go down in the history of dumbest things ever said by democrats:

My goodness. No black person can succeed in a merit-based system? That sure must have surprised Justice Clarence Thomas. It’s also woefully racist. This is your modern democrat party.

Right on cue, whoever is running Biden’s twitter account responded promptly with a promise to try to evade the Supreme Court’s ruling:

One of my favorite posters, Terrence K. Williams, was none too happy about all the pushback against the decision from white liberals ( DON’T MISS THESE)

ABC interviewed an incoming Brown University minority student who completely agreed with the Supreme Court, shocking the hapless anchors

Finally, in case that wasn’t enough good news, to cap off the roundup and further brighten your day, in this next clip legendary comedians Dana Carvey and David Spade riff on Fauci and the jabs:
