DEXTER WHITE ( LUONGO’S PARTNER)
He has a piece on the Blog which is also paywalled . It is Very Profound and we need to know what he has uncovered and his sentiments toward Trump . These commentaries are invaluable…so again I urge you to become a patron ( member ) on Gold Goats and Guns

We had a fun Stanley Cup run with our
Florida Panthers here in South Florida.
Along the way, the Panthers beat a lot of
teams that were better than them, but
ultimately they got outplayed by a better
team. They punched above weight and
took it all the way. And they didn’t get
swept. We are very proud of them.
At some point during their improbable run,
one of us mused, what would hockey be
like if the puck was white? The game
wouldn’t really be playable with an actual
white puck.
But what if you painted the puck white
digitally instead? The way they used to
paint a red streak on the
puck’s path for shots on goal.
The players would see the
real puck but the television
viewer wouldn’t see it at all.
Hockey without a visible puck
would be hilarious. Basically
a bunch of guys with sticks
randomly beating each other
senseless over nothing. And
intensely moving their fracas
from one area of the ice to
another for no reason at all.
In other words, it would look
like American foreign policy.
Or the inner workings of
Donald Trump’s mind.
Lately when I’m not
imagining painting the puck
out of a hockey game, I’m wondering how
much more Trump I can take.
That’s not because I don’t recognize what
we face, and how much we need a team
we can root for, it’s just that I’m losing my
patience to keep watching.
The Road to the Cup
We need to remember how we got here.
Then look around to see where we actually
are, now.
We got here because we hated Hillary. We
couldn’t tolerate the naked corruption her
presidency would have brought. We
would have voted for a turtle, or a pair of
pants, over her. So when offered the
choice between a blowhard reality-tv star
and the Hilldawg, we went team blowhard
all the way.
They dared us. You wouldn’t? We did.
Happily.
They have always underestimated how
much we hate them. How clearly we see
them for what they are.
This has always been driven by the same
energy that drove earlier third-party runs.
Trump was able to pull a lot of people off
the sidelines because he brought with him
an undeniable hostility to the worst parts
of our ruling class, the Swamp, if you will.
Trump is rich but he ain’t high class. He’s
got a gold toilet like Saddam and the
Bushes want to kill him. Especially Jeb.
Please clap.
Make no mistake, if Trump is on the ticket,
he will get my vote. But I’m no Trumper.
The reason is, I think, the same for many
people. Some of us remember Perot.
More remember Ron Paul. And we
remember every day why we hate the
status quo.
Trump talked like our champion. He even
looked like one.
But unlike the Florida Panthers, he has a
real problem with own goals.
He just can’t stop knocking them in. He
pulls his goalie in the first period when the
score is still 0-0, going 6-on-5 for no
reason at all.
He didn’t know how the game worked and
he didn’t bother to learn.
Yes, they sabotaged him. But at the end of
the day, he is an incurious man. And a
fabulist. And he spends way too much
time watching tv and starting fights.
Instead of ending them.
Saying ‘screw you’ to the Swamp is not
enough. We need to actually beat them.
Countdown to Self-Destruction
Which brings us to the current trouble.
At first glance, the classified documents
indictment looks like just another deep
state setup.
But at the core is a very dangerous trap.
And Trump walked right into it, stepped
on it and is jumping up and down on it as
we speak.
Allegedly, and that bears repeating,
allegedly, there were documents in his
possession covered by the Atomic Energy
Acts of 1946 and 1954.
There are certain
classifications defined in
statute that can’t be overruled
by a president (and definitely
not an ex-president). The
president can only declassify
things that were classified by
executive order, not
documents classified by
legislation.
You will hear the terms
Classified, National Defense
Information and Restricted
Data a lot in this drama. The
actual weasel words are
“documents related to nuclear
weapons” and here we have
an exquisite catch-22.
If there were really
documents of that nature, they can’t
publicly specify what they were. Which
means the press will assert they are ‘above
top secret’ or similar nonsense, while
Trump will assert they are not.
And this will waste months and months of
our time while bigger outrages go
unnoticed.
When we review the actual indictment,
there are two counts that could fall under
the Nuclear Defense Information label.
Count 5: “Top Secret, concerning nuclear
capabilities of another country.”
This one would likely expose sources and
methods of intelligence gathering but
might not be an actual “nuclear secret” of
the United States, as it does not seem
related to US technology. This may
actually be a type of document that Trump
as president could have declassified.
Count 19: “Secret, Formerly Restricted
Data, Undated document concerning
nuclear weaponry of the United States.”
Pretty low classification for an
important nuclear document. Could be
a classified version of publicly known
information. However, this is the type
of document that can’t be declassified
by executive order. This will be the one
even his fairy tales of declassifying
everything will not be able to get him
out of.
Maybe this resolves in a trial of a few
weeks in a federal courthouse in Fort
Pierce, Florida. But it will be
rescheduled closer and closer to when
he needs to be on the campaign trail.
Strategically by the deep state, and
foolishly by Trump who will fire his
legal team a couple of times and rant on
whichever podcast or network that will
have him.
Don’t say you don’t see it coming.
Trump seems dead set on ensuring what
should be a relatively weak case in
federal court becomes an
insurmountable challenge by admitting
to obstruction on every show he goes
on.
We don’t know why he does these
things. But we know he does.
We desperately need a leader who can
align our forces. That’s not Donald
Trump.
With apologies to Dennis Miller, Trump
has the attention span of a ferret
overdosed on Adderall. And this fiasco
is not the last one. A second term
would be full of them.
And I just can’t defend or cheer any
more self-inflicted impotence.
Trump’s Loyalty Oath
We know Trump demands total loyalty
from those around him. The problem is
that he gives none in return. He’s
notoriously thin-skinned and obsesses
over the most minor sleights, some of
which only he can perceive.
It’s projection and a serious character
weakness.
His recent attacks on Kayleigh McEnany
were the final straw for many.
Few presidents have had such a loyal
defender as McEnany. She was without
a doubt the best press secretary he had.
If you wonder how tough she is, she
chose to undergo a pre-emptive double
mastectomy because she carries the
BRCA2 gene that has led to multiple
cases of breast cancer in her family. She
id this in the middle of her tenure
serving the Trump administration.
And Trump turned on her viciously for
quoting the wrong poll (in his eyes)
which showed him polling higher than
Ron DeSantis by fewer points than a
different one.
It was a dick move. But it was no
surprise.
Be Careful What You Wish For
What would a second Trump term even
look like?
For those paying attention during his
first term, it all rings hollow.
I don’t buy that he’s going to “drain the
swamp” this time because I don’t think
he’s learned anything.
We have to admit, at least I admit freely,
that I would vote for Trump purely out
of hatred for the left. Nothing can
cause the apoplexy and insanity in them
like he can.
But it doesn’t really matter anymore.
The Trump Era just seems over now.
I don’t want to beat them at their game,
I want to preserve our country. And we
need a competent, perhaps less
amusing, leader to do that.
We can still troll the left into madness.
But the solution is to have a different
Republican president pardon Trump and
cite the absurd Hillary double-standard
as the reason.
We would be wise to remember how
much effort Team Hillary put into
ensuring, to their never-ending regret,
that Trump won the 2016 Republican
nomination.
The under thirty hipster braintrust that
was the Hillary campaign was sure they
could beat him handily. The kombucha
claque of Brooklyn had to cry
themselves to sleep.
But they lost because they overestimated Hillary, not because Trump
had the skills.
The Hoax That is Not
Just at the moment the Russia collusion
hoax was proven to be a political dirty
trick, Trump seized defeat from the jaws
of victory by being a scrapbooker.
What’s not a hoax is that Trump is
clueless how government works. We
know he didn’t declassify any
documents because that would require
that he read actual government
documents instead of some fawning
blog
So public attention is split between
proven government malfeasance on a
level worse than Watergate and a
scandal with a former president keeping
thirty documents he thought looked
cool. One proves our government is
endemically corrupt and the other
proves Donald Trump is a jackass.
Honestly, of course, we already knew
both of these things.
Ultimately, Trump’s recklessness will
protect the government and the corrupt
agents within it from being held
accountable.
Staring Into the Mirror
Narcissus sits looking at his reflection in
the television and screams from time to
time when his excessive needs for
admiration are not met. He’s not a
team player and doesn’t believe in
anything except himself.
This fixation is the one constant in his
story.
He’s adept at understanding what
people want and has a preternatural gift
for saying what they want to hear,
especially when no one else is saying it.
He knows how to play the role of the
foil but is ultimately a fragile person.
How he has lived the life he has is truly
remarkable. But it’s not that hard to
dissect.
He attracts those who are attracted to
wealth and power. He’s always been an
exhibitionist of the trappings of wealth.
He demands total loyalty because he
shows exactly none to others.
His histrionic and volatile personality
keeps his minions on edge, always
afraid of his wrath. He made a career
out of this, right down to his trademark
“you’re fired.” It’s a cartoon mockup of
power.
Trump’s puck is white, only he can see
it. He’s not going to pass, he’s not going
to feed the assist. He’s not going to go
into the penalty box willingly. Which is
why he’s going to get his teeth knocked
out.
It’s not that I don’t think Trump should
play a role.
He would make a fantastic Ambassador
to the United Nations. The best
Ambassador. Truly great.
But president? Let’s just say if I’m going
to watch this game, I prefer to see the
puck
He should be on the team, just not as POTUS.
In a capacity where he “reads” important people and makes deals.
Strategizes, but privately.
He thinks he can doing things by himself, but he can’t and doesn’t know how to marshall sufficient support.
And as DW noted, he alienates even his own supporters.
Those on the sidelines believe it will come down to RDS vs Gruesome.
Trump will leave a legacy, no matter what. Of that he can be sure.
Yeah we’re not in a very good place right now.
Well, can MTG enlist KM to run the House GOP votes to launch impeachment?
Damn, if there isn’t enough evidence for even the cowards to hide behind now!!!
Then, drag it out long enough to keep Kamala sidelined “at the border”.
But then give it to her when Brandon is forced to step down.
Which then FORCES the Dems to run with Harris in ’24 instead of coiffed Gruesome. Wouldn’t that be some choice Kamala Karma? She who is less African American than Elon !!!
