I have not found any legislation that has passed in the US supporting a Carbon Tax. Anyone else?
I know this comes from the Atlantic but it gives an overview of why a universal Carbon Tax will not work.
Canada is charging ahead with increasing the Tax per ton of CO2. The next increase in July 1. Only fuels inflation as we need carbon based fuels to provide for everyday living or we step back 100 years. I agree to cut pollution by conserving but Battery storage and EVs have serious environmental issues even before they are in the hands of the consumer.
I realize it was written two years ago.
