Childers was commenting on the demise of Complex systems. DEI is not compatible with maintaining infrastructure, good governance, education and just about everything that has evolved to a high functioning state.
The Peter Principle is at play all through Western Civilization.
If we continue along with this process, nothing will function.
Starting at the bottom and working our way up through the Educational system is key or we’re done. This is happening now. The population has awakened. Sure the WEFers will push-back harder and the authoritarians will quicken the pace of their orders. Since they are the weak link, their incompetence will be self-evident to the rest of the population. It will take years and much damage will be done but civilization will evolve. It may not look like we had it the last century.
Large cities are failing and the awakened population is fleeing to smaller centres or places that are still functioning.
The “California Disease” is contagious. It needs to die a quick death. Almost like amputating a gangrenous limb to save the body. BC is Canada’s California but not quite at the same level of rot. Cleave off the Lower Mainland and all is well.
