The west acts as though the narrative war is important. Even many of the more objective sources castigate the Russian side as incompetent in this aspect. This focus is only important in the short term, and only among the populations of the west, so as to fleece them of more war funds. Of course, this lengthens the war, yet the longer it lasts the more thoroughly NATO is defeated. The Russians, it seems to me, have been more honest in reporting the facts on the ground. Their claims have generally proven out, thus strengthening their narrative as time passes. Even in the west, NATO claims are being derided. The narrative gaining currency is that NATO is getting it’s ass kicked.
