I can’t see the F16 flying in the Ukraine without the whole of NATO being involved, and I can’t see that happening because the Europeans are already sick of this business. An entire infrastructure would be needed to support this kind of escalation, of which the Ukraine is incapable, and which would be ineffective in any case. The Americans have been taught lessons in modern warfare. One of them is the side with the best air defences controls the skies.
