When the planes of G7 leaders were wheels up from Hiroshima, Japan after their summit this past weekend, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau emerged as the champion frequent flyer, having racked up more air miles during his tenure than any of the other six. That is based on new analysis of air travel by G7 leaders released by the U.K.-based shipping firm Pack and Send.

“While Trudeau sets the record for more air travel than any other G7 leader, six in 10 Canadians are scaling back vacation plans and one in five are skipping meals because of the cost of living crisis he created, made worse by his expensive carbon tax,” he said. “Canadians are tired of paying for Trudeau’s high-carbon hypocrisy.”
