Leftist policies start out seemingly reasonable and compassionate before they become totally monstrous. Initially, there are sympathetic test cases, they started out with arguing that raped 12-year-olds should be able to get an abortion, and then before you know, it’s partial-birth abortion for bored celebrities. Euthanasia was supposed to help those with fatal illnesses suffering a great deal of pain. And then, in typical fashion, it morphed into killing teenagers and the depressed.
Where to in the Great North? How about killing the homeless and the poor?

This is a Big Topic Obviously
BUT…lets not loose site of the fact that NO ONE is Forcing ANYONE to be euthanized in Canada. This is NOT a survey asking if Poor People should be Killed becuase they are poor !! This is a survey asking if you agree that if a poor person wants to die does he have that right ??? I beleive EVERYONE has that right !
Some people in many different circumstances WANT to Die . They would gladly commit suicide if they knew how and knew it would work
They are looking for a way out …and Fast…because they are no longer interested in suffering and or Life itself !
Euthanasia offers a “Safe” and Painless and non violent way to Exit !!
Hell of a lot better than most suicides and attempted suicides
Yes there are those who are ‘temproarily” in a state of anguish and pain who maybe will think differently if they can just hold on as little longer
BUT..seriously for most who “ASK” for assisted suicide…they are sincere and this option is really a Humanitarian one…so long as each person is vetted by compassionate people first.

Personal story
My Uncle who was in love with life all his life…contracted a painful and terminal cancer at age 85. His wife was in an institution with Dementia
He took a WEEK OF SOUL SEARCHING AND decided to ask for MAiD
It was granted.
Weird part was he called me up and said ..Just calling to say goodbye.
I asked where he was going and he said…”away”
then he hung up
next thing i know his daugher called and said he was gone.
My Mom had a sever case of Alzheimers and disintegrated over a period of 3 years…She was Violent so they locked her up in a Looney Bin with other similar patients
It was a horror story visiting her
I asked repeatedly for Euthanasia…but their hands were tied …this was about 6 years ago…it would have been a blessing to spare her those last years of torment and terror !
I ask you…IF someone wants to die ….why do we have the “right” to deny them that right ?
Is it NOT a right to decide to Die ? In any circumstance ???
Is it NOT the ultimate “Control” play by society and the Government to “force” life on someone who does NOT want it ?
I want to die…Sorry No Can Do…you need to suffer every day for years or decades even until you die naturally

Fully I am sorry but I beg to disagree. Euthanasia is about the DELIBERATE killing of individuals under the cover of law. It is not usually about choice nor is it optional as you suggest. In Canada the government is currently allowing people to request MAID or similar assisted suicides by policy. But when this same process starts to include the handicapped, mentally ill, minors and seniors who may have cognitive impairment the old fashion term is still murder.
But wait, its not murder if the government allows it to happen and does not punish Doctors who carry it out.
So what about all the people who have had their brains fried by being vaccinated so they are now effectively incapacitated? Are they eligible for Euthanasia? Well yes they will be if the public is in favour by majority. You or your neighbors can be disposed of legally under such a system with or without your consent. Read the definition of Euthanasia from Britanicca if in doubt. It is appended below.

Fully is spinning the story to his ‘favour’ as he is Canadian and in total denial what is happening in his country while refusing not to flee as he had all the time to go with the knowlegde he has. I noticed this denial before. Some argue they are stuck other argue they are old and there are more Canucks on this site claiming the same lame arguments… but IMO; if life is dearly to you, you pursuit life no matter the burden one has to go through. Potentially that is the spiritual lesson God wanted one to learn this life. So will you stay and face the potential inevitable or JUST DROP EVERYTHING, LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND and GO?

Completely agree Nightgale and in fact that is exactly what I did although it was many years ago now. I used to listen to Alex Jones and others on night time radio starting some 20 years back and the stuff they were talking about was so alarming I wasted no time in emmigrating abroad as soon as the opportunity presented itself. They had all the receipts and the evidence and video back then. Very few people actually believed what they were talking about but I was one of them who never doubted.
Honestly most people I knew treated those radio interviews as pure entertainment. They thought it was for amusement for crying out loud. David Icke would be swinging off the rafters with dire warnings to audiences of empty chairs. Yet many of the most insane things he spoke about have now happened or are in progress. If your life is worth anything you too would drop everything and take it seriously and just get out while you still can.
A good friend of mine keeps delaying even as the walls close in day by day. My house he says…or my kids are here and my business etcetera plus a bunch of other excuses. He will never leave. He is going down with the ship and will pay heavily as will everyone else who stayed stuck in the old paradigm and were unable to see what was coming despite overwhleming evidence its already arrived. Those people cannot change…cannot sacrifice and cannot adapt to the new world that is being developed. They are the real targets since they won’t give in voluntarily.
Pity but no sympathy. I have a nice life now. My carbon footprint is close to zero in Africa, life is sweet, my wife is drop dead gorgeous and I don’t imagine anyone will bother me for the remainder of this life. If you can’t beat them then get with the program and change your ways if you want to continue to live a life of freedom.

If a Person of sound mind or one who is not of sound mind but has appointed and instructed an atorney of his wishes…chooses to end his life ..SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY…That is his Choice and that is his Right
My uncle was an immigration Judge in his prime…he was a bright guy and his life suddenly took a turn for the very worst…His wife was institutionalized and didnt know who he was and he had severe physical pain with little possibiity of a cure.
So he chose MAiD….And because he lived in Canada he was able to avoid more days of mental and physical anguish
NOBODY IS FORCED TO ACCEPT MAiD…It’s a choice …an option…Why would YOU deny my Uncle this Option …His Body His Choice !!!
