Canada’s top soldier received a memo from his advisory body in August 2021 telling him that imposing a vaccination mandate under threat of discipline would “not constitute informed consent.”
“Medical ethical restrictions prevent CAF [Canadian Armed Forces] Health Services personnel from administering vaccines without the informed consent of the recipients. Coercion of CAF members to accept vaccination under threat of military discipline would not constitute informed consent,” the memo reads.
Dated Aug. 12, 2021, the memo was sent to Chief of the Defence Staff Wayne Eyre, who was acting in the position at the time, and who later implemented a vaccine mandate for CAF members in October 2021.
It was prepared by C.L. Cloutier, a special adviser to the Strategic Joint Staff (SJS) Director Plans North America, serving under Major General Trevor Cadieu, who was then-director of staff at SJS.
So essentially the military jab mandate, was/is an unlawful command, if there was/is no informed consent.
Under military law, an unlawful command, can be disobeyed. That is, the jab can be refused, on the basis of no informed consent.
If the subordinate is disciplined for not following an unlawful command, the superiors who gave the unlawful command, may be charged and brought before a military tribunal.
However, do not expect any commanders to be charged. Even military law is now irrelevant to woke ideology.
