The Washington Post reported Thursday that “the national Democratic Party has said it will support Biden’s reelection, and it has no plans to sponsor primary debates.”
Just the latest example that the “Democratic” Party has NEVER been about democracy.They always choose their candidate with no input or consent from their members other than the top few leaders who control everything. When they held primaries in the past if the person the leaders wanted wasn’t going to win legitimately, they chose who they wanted anyway, like Hillary in 2016 and Joe in 2020. This time they would have had a hard time getting away with it since Joe is basically a vegetable who couldn’t debate anyone and his track record as President is the worst in the country’s history.

As CM notes, it should be yet another reveal to the Dem rank and file that this is not their choice to make.
Second, it hardens the choice to put up Biden again, and adds a roadblock to Newsome’s path. Newsome would be more electable but potentially an even worse POTUS because he comes across as presidential and can be more persuasive to the sheeple. He’s as much of a demagogue and totalitarian, as we’ve seen with everything that Cali has been doing recently. The reparations payments will be nationalized, for example. He would go full MMT.
