The worst thing this war has done to me is to make me question my loyalties. As I’ve grown older and more aware of the shit our government has spread all over the globe, instead of defending and supporting its own citizens, I’ve become jaded, full of mixed emotions when this kind of stuff happens. In the meantime we continue to leave countries around the world devastated, their populations obliterated due to our interventionism and the ensuing chaos. Our government has become a force for evil, so it’s a matter of not caring anymore. Just as long as my sons aren’t drafted into some congressman’s or military contractor’s wet dream of perpetual war.
Conscription is a viable reality — particularly with the USA “woke” military unable to sustain itself due to recent policies.
IF they can’t get the bodies voluntarily they will have to make it mandatory.
