This notion that the world is overpopulated is ingrained in almost all of Western society. I’ll even bet there are many people who are willing to “die for the planet’s sake” and expect others to join them. The minds of Westerners are so full of futuristic sci-fi scenarios that they have lost all touch with reality and are completely disoriented. This is why the WEF keeps peddling these Star Trek fantasies in their propaganda –the modern Western mind lives in a world completely detached from past and will follow after almost any kind of future fantasy bait in the trap. Some pharma exec was even peddling the notion that they were going to come up with a vax that would revolutionize the human immune system and allow people to become immune to viruses that don’t even exist yet. Many people are science fools, just like back in the 50s, 60s and 70s when it was not unusual for kids to think they were going to grow up to live on the moon or colonize the universe. People think “science” is magical and scientists can do anything. We are the stupidest generation ever. To the stupid, science is magic.
Alex is good. He really distills things and clarifies what is happening and why. I studied Geography in University as well as having an interest in it all through my childhood and the notion of overpopulation was the core perspective on the world and the future. Overpopulation was impoverishing the poor countries preventing them from “developing” and overpopulation would eventually impoverish the wealthy world. Improvements in medicine were flooding the world with healthy people who were living too long. We needed to obviously just rebalance things like Bill Gates is unashamedly saying these days. But no one ever comments on the fact that the world is now two or three times larger in population than in the days when overpopulation became an accepted view and therefore, obviously, the world can sustain a much larger population than they thought. They have already been proven wrong about overpopulation, just as they have been with global warming.

Agree. This applies to most people in the Western collective. And why they will celebrate sending their sons and daughters into a military meat grinder, to “save the planet”, and in the process extinguish their genetic line forever.
