   Yikes! That’s brutally cold. The freezer compartment in my refrigerator runs at around +10 deg.

   Perhaps what we are witnessing is not global warming or global cooling, but global instability?
   Temperature extremes, increased volcanic activity, increasing number of hurricanes, 500-year floods, droughts, etc.

   Could the earth be revolting to human cruelty, barbarity, and lack of compassion to other humans? Is that even possible?
   However, throughout recorded history, there seems to a correlation here, but it is not clear which is leading and which is following.

   There was a book written about this subject in 1975, titled “Climate and the Affairs of Men”.
   It was written by a couple of scientists under pen names for fear of being ridiculed or losing research funding.
   The book contents made an impression on me in 1983 that won’t go away. It has been out of print for some time.
   However, about 10 years ago, I stumbled across a 1977 edition at a local library sale. I figured that it was meant for me to find and purchase, so I did.
