Climate Change Agenda a non-starter

   Not a scientific study but those who said the decarbonization agenda was nonsense, tended to be much removed by time from a school setting. It may be that these people recognize that we live in a Northern climate and EV’s and the whole sordid mess is not feasible. They have life experiences and see the real world as it is. Even the Aussies gave a thumbs down to the Agenda. Unfortunately, school kids are all on board 🙁 for the most part. Indoctrination???

   Many had unkind words about The Turd, even if they voted for him 🙂 I try not to ask political questions but it comes out of their mouth when I mention the EV mandates. Wow, the pushback may just be starting. What do I know? Hahahaha

   I know I wasn’t going to do Covid but the vast majority took 2 or 3 shots. How do they feel about their effectiveness? I only asked adults. Not so good, they replied. I guess the word is getting out. They have moved on and are NOT TAKING ANYMORE SHOTS! Are they now suspicious of the WEF agenda?
   I hope so. Fooled once……

   When I suggest to the skiers that by 2025, The Turd guaranteed that Canada would meet the Paris Accord CO2 limits they are beginning to see the creeping carbon tax for what it is. I see no end to the use of carbon based fuels here in the BC Interior. I bet we have surpassed the 2019 highs already. The flights have returned to the Kamloops airport. Maybe not as reliable as in the past due to staffing but the crowds are still coming. Hearing great stories about diverted luggage, delayed, cancelled and switched flights adding up to a day to their trip. Missed skiing time at the resort 🙁

   Will the Aussies still be able to escape to ski resorts in the vast numbers that they represent? I can envision less flights at a higher cost level. I’m attempting to get them riled up on the back of a failed shot mandate, Gladys “Berserkian” and dancing Dan Andrews. He is a real piece of work and got re-elected:( It’s coming and they sense this. I want them Royally pissed off.

   During the months of Dec and Jan over half of the tourists are Aussies or Kiwis escaping their hot Summer. Brits are coming in large numbers now due to the lack of reliable snow in the Alps.

   Congratulations to GMG for finally receiving her British Passport. She has that fighting spirit of the Brits who aren’t going to take much more. It comes with the Citizenship 🙂 If all Canadians or Americans had her attitude, Fauci and friends taking the place of the poor Beagles. The Turd would be flushed.

   I can see a carbon tax on energy intensive sports. Ski Resorts are big energy hogs. The snowmobile crowd is back in large numbers even though the backcountry has some serious avalanche concerns this year.

     Would like to know why you picked UK? Is it for Britain or the EU “passport” to some other country?

       Hi Kewl, I didn’t really “choose” it. Turns out I’ve been a British Citizen since birth but I didn’t know it 🙂 It came as a result of ancestry thru paternal lineage. When Turd-o was re-elected Sept of 2021, I knew I had to have an escape. I’d been following Simon Black who frequently talks about the benefits of a second citizenship and decided to investigate. I hired a private firm over in London to apply on my behalf; they listed the criteria (it depended on where your grandparents were born, where your father was born, what year your parents were married and what year one was born, among other things) and I matched all the criteria.
       It was a huge relief for me as it provides options. I am heading over there to investigate, once ski season wraps up that is 🙂
       If anyone thinks they may qualify, have FGC pm me and I’ll try and provide more specifics as well as provide the name of the private firm I used.
