In our opinion, it represents one of the worst acts (or inactions) in the history of the Supreme Court.” “In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction.”

Excellent article. I agree with CM, that J6 was likely planned to develop as it did, for the reason cited. The assessment of Texas vs PA is also noteworthy.

And there goes the argument that Trump had tactical superiority.
Congress needed time to review the evidence, which they never got, and Trump should have seen the trap or more forcefully counseled against Trouble on The Hill.
