Since Trump came down the elevator with his beautiful wife, that fateful day, he’s been mocked for not being sufficiently dignified. George Bush, I suppose, has been the personification of dignity. He’s an artist, don’t you know! Obama, smoking weed, playing video games, and hanging with those classy hip hop heroes, while cashing cheques from thankful corporate criminals, has ever been celebrated for his gravitas. Of course, history has rarely seen a more esteemed, president than the big guy, and current White House sniffer. I’m not sure dignity has ever been a prerequisite for the job.
