Actually its double that, closer to 35%, using 2015 to 2019 average as a baseline.
ABS are using 2020 to 2021 as the baseline, as the mortality then was higher due to Covid, lockdowns, etc.

I think when the contracts are fully revealed they will explain an awful lot of the stupid behaviour of the government. Imagine one’s own government signing contracts which prevent them from telling their own constituents what it is they’ve just agreed to? To me that’s a form of treason.
