Today’s David DePape roundup: I’m doing my best to flatten the news curve for you by boiling down what looks like the most reliable data from the vast swamp of misinformation, hot takes, opportunistic political spin, and deep state psyops.
Yesterday, in an article that blamed QAnon for Pelosi’s hammer attack, Politico described the assault like this:
David DePape forced his way into the home through a back entrance, Scott said. Officers arrived at the house, knocked on the front door and were let inside by an unknown person. They discovered DePape and Pelosi struggling for a hammer, and after they instructed them to drop the weapon, Scott said, DePape took the hammer and “violently attacked” Pelosi.
This raised a bunch of new questions. Who was the “unknown person” that answered the door and let the police inside? Why didn’t the police intervene when the men were “struggling for the hammer?” Why order someone to drop a hammer? If DePape was preoccupied wrestling with Pelosi, why didn’t police just grab the hammer?
And here’s how Politico described Pelosi’s medical condition:
Pelosi has undergone successful surgery for fractures to his skull and arms.
Arms. Injuries to his arms. Those sound like defensive wounds, like he was trying to protect himself from the hammer blows. In other words, it wasn’t just one strike. What were police doing while the attack was going on?
Yesterday, in a video report, the New York Post — accidentally? — mistakenly? — reported that Paul Pelosi had DIED:
Pelosi’s death couldn’t be confirmed anywhere else. A few hours later, the Post deleted the story without issuing a correction, or even offering an explanation, for that matter. It’s weird.
Also yesterday, the Post ran a different story headlined, “Paul Pelosi Alleged Attacker David DePape a ‘Monster’ Who Sexually Abused His Kids, Stepdaughter Claims.” In that story, the Post quoted Nancy Pelosi saying Paul was expected to make a ‘full recovery.’
So, is he dead? Or is he making a full recovery? Or is he just mostly dead? The news business gets a lot more complicated when you’re reporting at the speed of science.
Yesterday, journalist, author of “San Fransicko,” and 2018 Democrat gubernatorial candidate Michael Shellenberger published a Substack article headlined, “Pelosi Attack Suspect Was A Psychotic Homeless Addict Estranged From His Pedophile Lover & Their Children.” Unlike corporate media reporters, Schellenberger actually went over there and interviewed DePape’s neighbors, who described the young man as a drug-addled radical leftist — “until recently” — with a psychotic and paranoid mental condition.
Corporate media has yet to report on DePape’s homelessness (he had no permanent address, and did not rent or own any real property anywhere). Probably because homelessness is only a problem when Republicans control the White House. Anyway, props to Schellenberger for running down extensive evidence that DePape is another blue state welfare victim.
But it still doesn’t explain why he was in Pelosi’s home at 2:30am in his underwear.
Gateway Pundit ran a story yesterday headlined, “EXCLUSIVE: Two Far-Right Websites Attributed to David DePape to Smear Conservatives Were FABRICATED – They Were Created Friday and Deleted Saturday.”
Over the last two days, among all the hot takes and psyops, corporate media (including Fox) reported on two “blogs” that DePape allegedly ran where he made rightwing rants. Independent investigators quickly determined that both blogs were created on Friday. After that news began circulating, both blogs were deleted. It’s not clear who created and deleted the fake DePape blogs.
But it seems clear who’d benefit.

Personally I think Hammers are dangerous…
I think they need to be regulated
A Hammer License
Must be 21 years old and take a course on hammer safety every 24 months
Regulate nails also…must keep hammer in a separate lock box 6 feet apart from the nails.
You always know, when a story is fabricated for political advantag, the name of the suspect is immediately released and a whole backstory narrative of his life and political leanings is brought out almost immediately.(think Lee harvey Oswald, as just the most famous example.Some reports had a newspaper reporting the assasination in a time zone before it actually occurred) Whenever it is just another crime, even if involving a well known person, even when a suspect is apprehended, they almost never leak the name of the suspect and won’t release and or confirm any details because it is a “pending investigation”. This is such BS like so many other psyops.
