     I would bet that seventy five percent of social media employees understand that they are completely useless, and that their salaries are soon to be ended.

   Along that line could someone who is knowledgeable about such businesses educate me. If you have a platform that provides users access to post content and either charge a subscription fee and or advertiser fees to reach that audience, isn’t most of that software and automated technology? There should be a minimum number of employees necessary IF you are not attempting to moderate and control what the users download. No censorship, no need for a large staff. You might actually turn a profit. Who knew.

     Yes, most of the “employees” are useless baggage. For these platforms, all that’s need is a group of coders and developers to keep the platform functional and updated. Maybe 100 people max…..assuming the goal is to have a truly open platform, where anybody can say anything.
