THE PARTY HAS JUST BEGUN
Email from P P
Gary,
You are part of the largest political party in Canadian history.
It is my great honour to serve you as Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
It’s already been one week since I gave my first speech as Conservative Leader.
Watch it here:
This leadership election was the end of the beginning, but nowhere near the beginning of the end.
We are just getting started.
We are ready to stop Trudeau’s planned tax hikes on workers and seniors and end Justinflation.
We will bring forward bold ideas to make your paycheque go further, stop creating cash and start making more of what cash buys, like homes, energy, and food, here at home.
We will call out Liberals who impose COVID mandates and policies that discriminate and divide and instead we will unite people for freedom.
We will give people back control of their lives, and make Canada the freest country on earth.
Thank you, Gary, for helping and supporting our Party along the way.
Yours sincerely,
Pierre Poilievre
Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada
Candidate for Prime Minister of Canada
I supported PP but still hold the view that politics is a divide and conquer operation by a higher unseen power. A distraction. Much of the evil in the world comes from unelected technocratic World bodies. Little in the way of checks and balances.
I will continue to support the Conservatives but when they do become the majority party in the house I would hope that they would reverse whatever damage Bill C11 (if passed) has caused. If not, they could censor the liberals and other dissenters to their platform. No one should be censored. That would be the smell test for me.
Making media independent of the Government would be another. They are there to keep them honest, not a cheering section. Opinion pieces are just that but when all reporting is one sided we have a problem.
There needs to be a reconciliation with the PPC. I believe the differences are not that great.
When I speak with many of my older friends who have always been just Left of Centre, I hear in their voice that they are politically homeless as the Overton Window has now embraced them as Conservatives.
Surprisingly, many new Canadians that I have met during Covid are now Conservatives. They came from various countries who have trampled over their rights. The NDP has a socialist message that works for some. It’s a handout party. Destroys initiative. New Canadians are here to get ahead. Mrs Poilievre is a prime example.
The Party will grow a larger coalition base IMO…like the MAGA Party
There will still be remnants of the Uniparty creeps like O’Toole and Charest etc but they seem very weak at the moment
PP’s landslide shows where this is now
