And if somehow you are on a contrlloed meter…get the hell OFF
I think these customers actually signed up for a special program which paid them $100 up front and an annual $25 credit for joining it. However, it is interesting that the utility company can actually control the thermostat in their customers’ homes. How about cutting off their hot water too, in the winter time? It’s almost like living in a private prison.
