What I can’t really fathom, is the idea that most democrats as a group are down with everything that’s happened. Are they? Or are some of them squirming inside?
I don’t know. I’m not hearing much at all from those I know who are affiliated that way.
Are they not embarrassed by all the lies and deceit? If they are OK with this all, changing out the leadership won’t accomplish that much.
Modern day lefties don’t give a damn about ideology. They care only about winning – more specifically, they care about beating the other side and hurting the other side. They, for the most part me, have the emotional makeup of adolescent mean girls. They were once anti-war, now they are pro war. They were once for free speech, now they censor any opposition voice. They once were defenders of the working class, now they hold them in contempt. They once believed in bodily autonomy, now they believe a persons informed consent is moronic. They once believed in the concept of freedom, now they think they can lock us in our homes, and out of our work and entertainment spaces. In short, they are sociopaths, deserving of all necessary opposition.
The difference between Republicans and Dems is very much just like Covidiots and those who chose not to take the jab. Dems just accept whatever their party tells them. They vote for politicians even when they are convicted criminals. They vote for their party regardless if their candidates outright lie to them. They vote for defective candidates like Biden and stupid ones like Harris. Most(not all Dems) just check the box if the candidate has a D next to the name. D for Dumb because they is what they are. Republicans will actually not vote if they have a liar or bad candidate who is wrong on a lot of issues. Republicans forced out Nixon when he was wrong. You will NEVER see the Dems ever do that to one of theirs. Just like with non vaxers, Republicans think about the issues and weigh the consequences. Of course neither party really represents the people but why would the Dems ever do that when their base automatically votes for them no matter what they say or do?
