Farmers being forced to cut back on fertilizer
Fertilizer Being banned from a Railroad Company
Fertilizer Supply Chain destroyed because of the War
Grain Exports to Zero from the breadbasket of the World
Drought and heat killing crops and animals
AND ON AND ON IT GOES
You would think by now we would be seeing the results in the grocery Stores eh ?
Nope…Not here…Shelves are FULL ..of Everything.
I shop in 4 different locations and all are filled to the gills..OVERFLOWING ..A CORNUCOPIA OF EVERYTHING
The prices are higher of course BUT NO empty shelves except maybe a little thin in the baby formula department ( but not empty)
Then there is THIS !
and they are using MORE Corn in Gasoline now as well as the traditional Feed for Animals and People

I ased a Grocer manager Today if they are expecting shortages…he just looked at me sideways and said …nope
So I call BULLSHIT on all this

You could be right, Fully, but I suspect not. We are living off of last year’s harvest from our farmers (staples like food made from wheat and corn.) The harvest this year will be lucky to hit 50% of last year.
I read an article last night describing the impact of the extensive drought in the midwest and west. Also some input from Canadian farmers. The weather is wrecking farming west of the Mississippi, reminiscent of the Dust Bowl days of the Great Depression. So what we are experiencing now is the usual land of plenty.
Many ranchers in Texas are culling their herds because they are unable to feed them. Which creates a surplus of beef – just before beef turns very expensive. That map is as plain as the hand in front of your face.
In Europe they are experiencing a 100 year heat wave/drought. Rivers so low they are shutting down industry in Germany, river cruises have ceased. Guess what’s needed to grow abundant crops? Water. Lotsa water. Have not seen much rain to speak of in Europe.
All part of the coming “perfect storm”: lack of food, lack of energy = starvation, riots, chaos in general. Kinda like Sri Lanka on steroids. Your own government is actively working to cut farmers off at the knees across the western prairies and right there in the golden triangle of Ontario.
So call bullshit on it right now, but better be ready for disaster in 2023. This summer and fall farming results will be dismal at best.
So enjoy the abundance while we can. It will change dramatically and suddenly come 2023.

My brother-in-law is selling over half of his cows because he doesn’t have enough hay to get through the winter. Hay prices are skyrocketing. Herd liquidation will cause a temporary drop in beef prices but beef will be unaffordable afterwards.
One hundred years after the Grapes of Wrath, the Californians are moving back to Oklahoma. They have had enough. Housing is still tight here. When someone dies or goes into assisted living, family members are fighting to see who gets to move into the house.”
One-two line oversimplification:
The manufactured virus crisis, was to manufacture shortages, and hence supply chain disruption, then hoarding, then inflation.
I agree there are no shortages anywhere, right now, just higher and higher prices. Or, lower and lower weights in boxed items.
More than groceries, the sticker shock is highest at fast food joints, where the commoners go, who are stretched for time, who can’t afford the quality of Whole Foods or have the time to cook healthy meals. That was never their way of life. McDonald’s and Burger King were always the cheapest places for them.
But where is the ACTUAL root cause: I still thank Obama!
