Apparently few watch the MSM. That’s why GMG and I were shocked that most people have not seen the Dutch farmer protests. It doesn’t even matter where one stands on Covid. They appear oblivious.
I just happen to be at the Visitor’s Centre for Wells Gray Provincial Park the past two mornings before opening. Picking up emails, etc. (I’m camping)
A great percentage I speak to are Euros. You’d think they would know. No they don’t. If they do, they know nothing about the reason for the protest. I’m shocked!
When I told them they said they would look into it.
They all knew about the impending gas shortages.
Most thought a combo of the US and rationing will get them through: Wishful thinking????
Is that even possible?
A few couples said they would Winterize their home/apt and go to the US south for the Winter. I Guess that works for those with the means to do so.
I believe Covid is a distant memory for most of these people.
I even asked what they thought about The Turd. The general tone was that we could have done better. The polite answer. Diplomatic. The word “clown” came up. Hahahaha. One even mentioned Castro is his father. What would you expect from a commie. That meme is known over there.
A Swiss guy said that the inept can do a lot of damage before the public catches on . Good point. Shit!
I believe many think the same about Biden and most so called elected officials. So entertaining meeting tourists from all over. Some are reserved and just say the minimal.

Zero attention span, especially for anything of substance.
Instagram, Tik tok, FB, and all that sort of thing, is where they are at.
MSM doesn’t coverage it. And if they did, even fewer would watch.
Its all about cult of personality now, shallow as can possibly be.
I assume folks want relief from stress, not more reasons to feel it.
The MSM news ought to be called “the reality channel”. It’s just another TV show but everyone thinks it’s real and goes to it to find out what is “really” going on. That’s why it’s so easy to manipulate main stream folks, they’ve come to trust the MSM more than the people around them or even themselves. It’s almost like a window you go to see what the weather’s like, to find out. To many, the MSM are reality “experts” just like the Public Health people are the medical “experts”. When they’ve “checked” the news, they feel they know what’s going on and they feel corrected and realigned.
