It committed to maintain and improve the city’s “strict management of the joint prevention and control coordination mechanism”, and the emergency response system, including those designed to shut down circulation and transfer of the virus through “isolation, management and control… as soon as [transmissions] appear”. It also noted the continuation of strict residential inspections, the “normalisation” of regular testing, and the management of entry and exit to the city.
Sounds like cultural and economic suicide to me
Me too. Pedro’s post “It’s Time” seems even more relevant to China right now. Without compliance, even a minimum security prison like China becomes uncontrollable. The Zero Covid policies in Shanghai, like the green/red “health code” pass which needs to be renewed every 72hrs have made many people’s lives actually impossible …to continue complying. It’s getting to be “give me liberty or give me death” there. This is not a country that is going to pull together and fight a foreign war. More likely they’ll join the enemy and liberate themselves from their own “government”.
Intentional so we continue with shortages. I read today that the microchip manufacturers are having shortages in chips needed to expand facilities to make more chips.
