The Pope has been informed that most Catholics do not support war against Russia, nor do they support the vilification of Russians, nor do they support nazis. The Pope doesn’t seem to know much about Catholics. Perhaps, He’s recently hired someone who does! It’s not impossible. In any event, backing out of a position is always better than backing into one.
