Can someone please enlighten me.
I am reading that the Supreme Court overturning R vs W simply means there is no Constitutional Right to abortion and therefor each individual state gets to decide.
Well as far as I can tell Each Individual State already is and has been deciding .
So pardon my ignorance isn’t this just a big Nothing ?
If a woman in Texas ( or man ) wants an abortion they can go to California and get one….on the California taxpayer’s dime…apparently including expenses

Because the progressive woke left has made it important that a woman have a “constitutional” right to decide about their own bodies.Even though there NEVER was such a right in the constitution. That was their take on roe. Funny how the same woke left progressive idiots didn’t feel the same way about someone’s actual right to decide about a personal medical treatment, ie covid vax.
Yes, states do indeed have different laws regarding abortions. Those laws are not challenged if they meet the generous criteria of the progressive dip wads – abortion any time for any reason.
The states that pass restrictive laws are always challenged in the courts, which eventually (sometimes) find their way to SCOTUS. So far, SCOTUS has not had the backbone to rule there is no constitutional “right” to abortion. The fact that they MAY decide the federal government has no constitutional say in abortion will make the delineation between red and blue states even more stark. (The hubbub is only on the left, not the right, BTW.)
Exactly the way it should be.
Now if they could only reach the same decision about feds interfering in the education systems, we’d be on our way to a dramatic difference between states: truth vs fiction.
