Like I said in my comment to an earlier post, it was the left to gin up their base and as this writer states, to try and get one or more of the Justices to change their vote based on negative political pressure. That is EXACTLY what happened with Chief Justice Roberts when he intimidated the rest of the court to not hear any of the challenges to the 2020 election because there would be riots. Chief Justice Roberts confirmed the leak is accurate. Didn’t know who leaked but ordered an investigation. Who has a motive to leak. The repubs and conservatives on the court would win if no one changed their vote. Nothing to gain by leaking. The left and libs on the court (most likely one of the progressive women) Sotomayor showed her political bias in recent decision towards Puerto Rico, have nothing to lose and everything to gain by leaking. First they might get a scared moderate to change their vote regarding Roe. Even if that doesn’t work they get their base fired up about the midterms to try and salvage something out of the disaster they are facing.
Wrong! The leak insures that the so called conservative justices can’t change their minds, else they would look like spineless cowards. Their grift is to pretend they are “constitutionalists”. Changing the vote would expose the grift big time. The left’s base is the big cities and the coasts. They already vote left. Now they’ll vote lefter!
This is a “statist leak”, designed to get the Ukraine disaster off the front pages. People don’t seem to understand the brilliance of Putin’s statecraft. He is in the process of recreating the world, all with an economy the size of Canada’s! This century belongs to him. He will be remembered as one of history’s greatest forces, unless the clueless west – led by clueless Joe – decides to unleash nuclear Armageddon to show how tough they are; in which case no one will remember anything.
Not even close. Of course lefties were going to vote Dem anyway but no reason for them to vote. No reason for right to leak. They won. Why would they shoot themselves in the foot. Ukraine has nothing to do with this.
