TORONTO DWELLERS ARE MORONS
So…go to any supermarket in the “Big” City we call Trana and you will see 80% masked !
But tonight there is a Ball game indoors at the Dome and maybe 95% Unmasked
Also a Big Hockey Game at the Arena with 18,000 packed in like sardines cheering and screaming and also 95% barefaced.
But tomorrow when all these people go shopping they will be masked up
Morons one and all
No different in Vancouver. Can’t comment on what they do at stadium games, but high percentages of them parade around the supermarkets the symphony, and other shops with their face rags. Worse yet, at any given time, 40-50% of those walking or cycling by themselves (outdoors) are wearing the damn things.
Entire daycares are wearing them. Parents are strapping them on the faces of their 3 year olds as though this is commonplace.
I just seethe with anger when I see this. Because these are the a**holes that are fuelling this bullshit. They are good with lockdowns, forced vaxing, and being mandated to wear face rags forever.
They are not our friends. They are against everything we stand for 🙁
Could it be that there are enough intelligent city folks to fill a sports arena? And the real morons are out shopping?
I went to Costco a week ago. Costco has always been mask-city. Even before the mask bylaw everyone was wearing them. This time the greeter had no mask. And my cashier had no mask. The rest, 95% or so had them but I was quite shocked to see staff without them. I almost thought they’re decoys or some sly scheme to deceive us about something. I can’t believe Costco would have anyone actually working there anymore who wasn’t a mask-maniac.
I think Toronto folks are complicated and the masking has a number of reasons. I saw a guy the other day wearing an N95 mask –under his nose. I saw him again in the same supermarket later and he still had it below his nose. Brand new N95 but not covering his nose. Then there’s the chin-mask. Mask pulled down below the chin like they just want to take it off for a second but not mess with the ear straps. But it stays there for an extended period of time as if they were stylishly wearing sunglasses set up on the top of their head in their hair. Perhaps these are “maxsidents” temporary dementia brought on by vax clots and manifesting as masks in senseless positions?
Thank God in England it’s the other way round. Masks are now rare everywhere. Anyone wearing a mask in shops and sporting events now stand out as the lone fearful person (or idiot if you prefer).
Modern society in the developed countries, has developed an inability to assess risk in the physical world.
Two things have lead to this:
1. The addiction to digital devices, as opposed to living in a physical reality, and
2. An easy life, over abundance of everything, too much time … as opposed to living from day to day to put food on the table.
Compare this to the third world, like Tanzania, where masks were rejected, and are not a thing at all. These people understand and have assessed the risks, correctly.
Good points, Spock. I’m beyond working for my side. My side has caved.
I’ll keep screwing with the other side, because it’s easy, and it’s fun.
Spock – your point on “an easy life” is right on the money and not enough energy is spent on understanding that this is a fault and not a virtue!
