Jim Watson says he has asked city staff to see whether the city of Ottawa can implement its own mandatory mask policy for OC Transpo buses and the O-Train once the provincial mandate ends later this month.
“We’ve got to kill this virus once and for all, and we can’t do it if we take away some of the tools that doctors tell us are the most effective tools keeping us safe,” Watson said.

Cripes. Their mayor is obviously an asshole who is incapable of even reading a newspaper let alone a scientific paper. I feel for the residents there who will be subject to this endless insanity.
If the fearful want to cling to their useless face rags, line up for every shot offered, and in the meantime hide in their basements cowering in terror I say have at it. Leave the rest of us alone. And if you are so convinced that masks work then wear 2 of them so you are “compensating” for those that don’t. There. Problem solved.
