Dumbphone Sales Surging as Masses Ditch Their Smartphones

   Have two smartphones (and a cordless “landline”).
   Until recently, both smartphones were ALWAYS off unless on extended travel.
   The main one, had an app called Anywhere, for my desktop PC. So any messages showed up there instantly even though the phone was never powered up. Yesterday was the last day for that feature.
   That service has now been cancelled.
   Now, my backup phone is powered up each day but I’m using another desktop app to send and receive texts from it. That’s all I use that phone for.
   That android phone was $89 and the cellphone subscription is $10/mo. It goes through wifi when available.
   For voice calls, I use a VOIP service at $30/yr and a cordless phone. Tiktok & IG & FB? No thank you!

       Yeah, I keep location services off as well.
