HOW RARE IS GOLD?
Math students, if there is an error in my calculations PLEASE offer UP and explain corrections. Thanks so much.
Given that total above ground Gold is 205 Tons
and that one Ton equals 1000 kilograms = 205,000 KG
and that the population of the Earth is 8 Billion
and that if Gold is distributed equally to all individuals
how much Gold would each person receive from the distribution?
Answer: 205 (1000 kg) (1000 gm) = 205,000,000 grams / 8,000,000,000 people = .025625 gm per person
at $60 per gram the dollar value is .025625 (60) = $1.52
So each person would then own .025625 grams of gold valued at $1.52? Really?
Got Gold?

Good point Foxy
Missed by a magnitude of 3. There should be a 1000 that much. US alone claims 8000 tons. Russia and China each 2500 tons plus. There should be 4 billion ounces of both silver and gold above ground today.
Not sure if that changes anything though.
Still go out there and claim yours
Good point TMP. I think that should be 205,000 tons of Gold.
That would make it 25.6 grams/ person.
25.6 (60) = $1536/ person
Big difference, but as you say – claim yours.
You can dismiss US claims to the 8,000 tons. No audits and no one allowed to see it. It doesn’t exist. If we had anything close to it they would be showing it off and displaying it(with plenty of security) for purposes of bragging rights and propaganda. It was sold off decades ago.
Seems OBVIOUS.
That may come into play here soon
Chinese likely have 24,000 tons. Great YouTube video by Dominic Frisby on this
