North– the views you’ve expressed about Putin here on GoldTent have been clear and consistent. There might be others who share similar views. It’s not my intention to try to convince you or anyone to change your mind. Yet, listening to this podcast, a discussion between two brilliant people who understand the dynamics well, might result in your questioning whether the beliefs you hold have a solid basis.
You are correct in saying that you can express anything you want to in the US, that we have incredible freedom. Yet, the freedoms in the US include even the freedom to deceive. It’s accurate to say we have gone so far down this road of freedom, that we have arrived in a place where freedom from morals is encouraged.
My view is we have been in a war of sorts for a very long time. It’s a war on the people, perpetrated by self-appointed wannabe world rulers. So many citizens have been taken in by decades of propaganda that they voluntarily exercise their freedom to believe in and trust untrustworthy individuals and institutions. This has evolved to the point that we have ceded a degree of our basic rights of ‘life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness’. The latest major example is one we know well in the GoldTent: the campaign of coercion to get everybody to submit to suspect experimental injections, developed by the most criminal of organizations with the help of ‘public servants’ using taxpayer monies.
Putin is a realist, a traditionalist, a patriot and a strategic thinker. He has led his great country away from the abyss prepared for it by the asinine socialists of his country’s recent past, the arrogant and ignorant forces of the modern west(read the U.S.), and the schemers and dreamers of the new world order(read the EU). It is now certain that he has defeated them all, or is the cowardly west ready for nuclear war? I doubt it, although we can’t absolutely rule out NATO being completely insane. The war in Ukraine is now only a question of the west’s realization that their years long project to emasculate Russia has ended in failure. It is they who have been emasculated. Russia has survived our worst, grown stronger and will grow stronger still. Our side has failed completely, and will become increasingly weaker. Our leadership has been pathetic. Russia’s, at long last, has been magnificent.
