The country could go cashless as early as 2024, according to some estimates.
Since 2019, banks have removed 3,800 ATMs across the country, representing over one-third of Australia’s cash machines, news.com.au reported. The top four Australian banks, meanwhile, have permanently shuttered 459 branches.
Professor Robert Breunig of Australia National University told news.com.au last fall that COVID-19 sped up the move to online banking, which will help authorities monitor and tax payments more easily. “People often avoid tax by doing cash type jobs and if there is no cash under the table, then it’ll be easier to actually follow transactions,” Breunig said.
They are going to fail because NOBODY wants this .

Any cash transaction above $10,000 in Oz, must be reported to those who must be obeyed.
If not reported, its a criminal offence, and can lead to incarceration and heavy penalties.
Australians need to wake up and pushback against this tyranny, before its too late.
Oz, like Canada and NZ, are testing grounds for the NWO.
No different than the US about reporting cash transactions over $10,000. Probably most places have similiar laws by now. As far as those under the table jobs, they will be paid for with physical gold and silver. No record.
