You know, I am sick and tired
(not only of this, but many things, yeah)
of the use of the word “leaders” to talk about our politicians.
They are NOT leaders.
They are servants.
They were elected to office and sent to Ottawa or Victoria or wherever to SERVE the public. To do what is in the individual’s best interest. They are sent to SERVE the common good. The are sent to SERVE the cause of freedom. It is on their shoulders to PROTECT our freedoms, and NOTHING more.
When you reference them as leaders, you are giving them power and recognition that is beyond their capacity. You are giving them YOUR freedom when you call them leaders, think of them as leaders, label them as leaders.
They are nothing of the sort, and never have been.
So stop already. Call them cretins, call them liars, call them thieves, call them evil, but don’t EVER call them leaders.
Because they are not.

Point well taken. I suggest that, for the Canadian contingent anyway, from here on we refer to them as “our tyrants” or “our dictators” or some combination thereof.
I don’t ever use that term. But I’m more cynical and have been for some time.
“They were elected to office and sent to Ottawa or Victoria or wherever to SERVE the public. To do what is in the individual’s best interest. They are sent to SERVE the common good. The are sent to SERVE the cause of freedom. It is on their shoulders to PROTECT our freedoms, and NOTHING more.”
I disagree with all of that, as a matter of FACT AND REALITY.
And until that’s recognized, nothing will change.
They are there to do the bidding of their financial sponsors, and to make THEM rich.
And then the elected get a slice, or their friends and relatives do.
Those ‘elected’ to office have NEVER been there to represent ‘we the people.’ Despite what you may have been TOLD by public educators. Just because you have been taught that, doesn’t make it so. It just makes you naive.
People power and Government power is a zero sum game.
Govt power comes from their spending. Which comes (these days) from their borrowing.
Which is underwritten by sovereign bond buying.
Which is undertaken by central banks. Over whom, the people have NO control or input. Ever.
FIX THAT, and we might someday have a chance.
