I call BS! The courts are making it clear that mandates are illegal. So they can be sued every which way but loose. Anyone think they didn’t know that firing a bunch of staff would cause disruptions? They knew and didn’t care. But lawsuits they care about!
You are absolutely correct. They may be political morons but they knew what the ramifications were beforehand. Only when they actually lose in court and have to fork over real money will they change their tactics.
