It still shocks me that Israel, of all countries, got themselves so deeply involved with this genetic experiment. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that since the country’s beginning the people have seen the government as their protector. If true, then let this be a lesson for all. Governments are not your friend. They are a necessary evil; one that should be kept as insignificant as is possible.
