My family has Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. My wife logged on to their portal to schedule a routine thing for me. The portal would not allow any progress without proof of vaccination and the only option was scheduling a vaccination. I guess we do not have insurance. Fuck Joe Biden and the horse he rode in on.
It’s not just us but our High school kids also.
How does being unvaccinated not qualify as a pre existing condition?
They are denying you coverage against the law, no?
I’d be doing two things: making BCBS life’s miserable – tie up their customer service with polite beligerence – AND change insurance companies.
Third, I’d check with an attorney for lawsuit. This is highly illegal.

You entered into a contract for insurance coverage, are paid up, and now they unilaterally amend the contract and add further conditions for coverage?

I have a prescription for one of those, written pre Covid. Walmart continues to fill it, and after the year’s prescription ran out, they contacted the physician’s office to have prescription extended. But I also pay cash since its peanuts at under $10/mo.
They appear to be getting desperate to have everyone vaxxed before the cold season sets in full force which could adversely affect those who have been imunosuppressed with the vax and a platform for getting them to take the 3rd, 4th and subsequent shots. Pressure’s ramping up globally.
