I am sure others have noticed that retailers nowadays frequently ask if you want your receipt. I always believed in getting receipts but after being asked for the umpteenth time I finally acquieced and said, “No”. It seemed like the thing to do. Gold old me. Anyway you guessed it. After a couple of weeks (because I had other product to use up) I opened the product and it was defective. So I phoned the store where I had made the purchase and you guessed it, “Sorry sir, if you have no receipt, we can’t help you”. I’m burning up.
