   Both **climate change** AND **Covid** will get on the certificates. Even if only 1 is allowed to date, an exception will be made to allow for both these 2 critical diagnoses to be placed on a single certificate.

   Last 2 days where I am in the NE US we have been warned how miserable and horrible it would be outdoors. Heat alerts, danger, danger, danger. That and Covid delta has been the news. It has just been horrible outside. Real terror, you know.

   Both days: archetypical gorgeous summer days. I (who have significant health problems) had wonderful walks — even some aerobic. Clear skies, no pollution I could detect, the days you like to have when you hike or can play ball even when you’re middle-aged.

   Today I was in a state park near the city. Prior years would have been a little busy even on a work day even on vacation week. Almost empty. I spoke to one of the few fellow hikers how gorgeous the weather was (in contrast to the scary reports) and suggested to him that it was as if they had wanted to scare people into self-imposed lockdown. He said he had had a similar impression. A young guy, about 1/3 my age.

   I appreciate that the weather is far far hotter in the Pacific NW – totally different situation. But we used to go out without all this heat index crap (or equivalent cold stuff wind indexing in the winter) and with a lot more obvious pollution than the last couple of days. It does seem though as if they are trying to play up anything bad outdoors as if it is good to have you cringing in your little dwelling looking at the screen in terror wondering whether you’ll survive the next hour maybe order out for some blitzo GMO junk food to stick down your throat to console yourself with as you die in darkness artificial lite whatever.

   Did you BTW see that pollen is supposed to carry the Covid bug? I think there was pollen outdoors today. I might not survive the night. Wish me luck.

   But do suspect that they’re getting ready to segue in to climate or the climate+bug combo. It’s so uncontrolled out there outdoors.
