A MOST INTERESTING CHART
Silver went from $1 in 1970 to $50 in 1980
Then it slowly cratered all the way back to $4
Then $50 again in 2011
Since then it’s building a nice handle
Notice the symmetrical double bottom at $4 in the Nineties and then the Naughties for the bottom of the cup
Notice the symmetrical double bottom at $14 in 2016 and then 2020 for the bottom of the handle
Pass the popcorn
That’s a beauty. Especially since the chart is presented in log scale.
I don’t know how the economy will function in a world of $500 or $600 silver, but we may find out soon enough.
If that $50 is broken the target is “only” $100
