Douglas County (CO) joins FL and S Dakota

Tuesday’s resolution was similar to one Douglas County passed last month when it expanded restaurant capacity to 100% even as other metro-area counties adhered to some level of limited seating as stipulated by the state’s COVID dial. It also comes two months after (county) commissioners demanded that Polis lift all COVID-19 restrictions to return “constitutionally guaranteed freedoms” to its residents.
This is a largely red county just south of Denver, centered around Castle Rock (not the studio). Lots of horse country.
Posting this just to recognize pushback, in a turned blue state.
Good news.
More common sense legislation. Time to make it voluntary not mandated. I have no problem with others wearing masks by choice. I would even respect a shopowner asking for customers to wear a mask but I may not visit their establishment. Essential businesses, as in food stores, should not discriminate based on masks. If employees are so afraid and believe in them so be it. Let them wear the rag of shame.

Plus 1 2 3 4 and 5
I would go way out of my way to shop in a mask optional environment .
WE are the GOOD Guys here…We have no problem with anyone making their own choices
Our adversaries want to tell US how to live…screw that and screw them.
Freedom of choice is gonna feel a lot better after this..we took it for granted .
