Doctor Doom, as he is referred to has always been a fervent gold hater… no question. So once one understands this one can take in what he says and gain some worth in from what he says. The good thing about him is he is not a cool aid drinker and can objectively see reality (except for gold). So yes I do listen to what he has to say, there is value here, but when it comes to gold one just has to zone him out.

Interestingly he makes a point that central banks are motivated to moving into gold rather than USD.
Others, such as Sam Zell, brilliant investor, has never been a fan of gold, until now. He and others are starting to realize “this time IS different”!
