Beautiful Cup and Handle
While I knew Sprott Inc. was a publically traded company, I never gave it much thought nor followed it. I concentrated on buying and holding CEF and PSLV. After FullGoldCrown’s post two weeks back I have started to follow SII. It’s chart shows a beautifull cup and handle pattern and the stock is now in spitting distance of a small gap at 35.42 which happens to be where the 50 day mvg. is currently. That is where I would be looking to buy for a long term investment.
If you look closely at the chart, SII is up both in Feb. AND still in March(despite it’s sharp drop these last two weeks) even while gold was down in Feb and flat for March and silver was flat in Feb. and down in March.
Reverse Symmetry played out
I agree SII will be a Good Long term Holding when Gold Bottoms.
Over at the Rambus site we’ve had a strong buy out on this stocks since Nov 2017. At that time slayed out the case for it being an ideal vehicle to ride and participate in the upcoming bull market. Myself I suggested it could be a 20-25 bagger from that level at the time. A few months after these postings Dan Ferris slayed out the investing proposition to the Stansberry subscribers. That’s where the big rise out from the Inv H&S occurred. Later on Doug Casey pumped it to the Casey flock. So we got in way ahead of these big moves.
Her is what I see happening: This stock will grow throughout the bull market. Sometime in the second half of the bull market, likely towards the end it will be acquired by some large cap Wall Street firm (or perhaps European) for Mega bucks. Let’s say15-30 Billion. Today’s MC is 933M. You can do the math. Top of cycle cash flows will be rocking. That’s when you sell:

I agree it is a good way to play the rest of the gold and silver bull. That is why I would buy near the 50 day and small gap. Whether it gets taken out all depends if Eric Sprott wants to sell his company. He doesn’t need the extra money why would he give up his baby?
