     What can they do ?

     Stop millions of day traders from buying ANY Stock ?

     Ban Short selling so the hedge Funds cannot put themselves in this vulnerable position at the mercy of well organized Short Squeezes ?

       Its their Club, and we are not in it.

       So yes, they are already restricting stocks and position sizes from going long.

       This whole club needs to crash and burn. Bring down the machine. It should have happened in 2008, but they bailed the club out, using taxpayer money.

       If a broker is imposing restrictions, just close the account. Find another.

           Yes Plunger, sad but true. The judiciary is just one of the many institutions that have been destroyed by the left. In fact, other than the rank and file police and military, I can’t think of any others that haven’t been corrupted, perverted and destroyed. It’s what they do.

   I saw one figure that short interest in GME was 137% of the float.
   Can anyone confirm?
   Second … how is that even possible? Frequently I read where its hard to borrow (certain) shares to short. Clearly, folks are shorting without even borrowing the shares first!
   Third … what other issues have extreme short interest relative to float?

   And finally, we’re in a global fiat bubble. No sign of waning. Unless you’re a gold miner, its bubble pricing for all. Cheap rates = buybacks = bubble pricing given TINA.

   They’ll stop this by labeling WSB/Robinhood types a new form of domestic terrorist, of course.

Anyone who simply disagrees with the Biden regime or anything pushed out by their allies in media, tech, entertainment or academia is already being labeled as a domestic terrorist, insurrectionist, etc., etc. It’s a tried and true tactic of all fascist regimes throughout history.    Two points. I understand there is tremendous leverage but they are not going to crash the sysytem. Second the type of restrictions such as making specific stocks 100% margin, no shorting etc.,etc. Existed for decades. Between the SEC, exchanges, and brokers those restrictions were allowed to be watered down and in many cases ignored. They are going to go back to the way it use to be for the most part. You can’t just close your account and go to another broker when they all adopt the same rules, which is the way it is suppose to be. Everyone playing with the same rules. You may not like the rules but at least it would be consistent. And Pedro and others are correct. Brokers should not allow anyone to short without first borrowing the shares.

   Many are on board with this

   With only 70 million shares outstanding 10 million people need hold 7 shares each and refuse to sell to trap these short sellers.

   The float is even less at about 47 million shares. So that is less than 5 shares each.

   Investing $2k to be part of the herd to break the wall street system to me seems like a just cause.

   I don’t see it playing out this way however. GME will be forced, coerced, blackmailed, threatened etc. to issue shares. Offer 50 million shares at a market discount to whoever is short to equalize the books then Gamestop is cash flush and shorts are covered.

   This is how it plays out IMHO.

   The question is if this happens do the executives as GME become the targets of the millenial mob?
